Aftermarket headlight LED $40 vs $400

Hello all,

I am stripping my 95 Connie naked and had a thought about headlights. As with near everything you can get the cheap China made, or high quality USUALLY made here. Of course with good old branding to increase the price for no other reason to make more money. So geeking out as I so annoyingly do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNZT6QqHHOo I now would like some real world help.

My question is do I buy the cheap LED or break out big bucks for the one that may keep me safe. I know, like a helmet  it is subjective to the rider,  buy has anyone bought a high end light and noticed a worthy difference?  I do live in deer country...

Justin,
The price difference is really not that big. The "big brand" units are only 50-80$ each. I use the Cyclops 3800 LM bulbs in my C14 and my KTM 690. Peace of mind and reliability is worth the extra few bucks. I also have secondary lighting on both bikes in case of a failure in the primary.
