Some of us are planning to meet in Warner Robbins GA to eat and visit the Museum of Aviation in mid-late March.

Who’s interested and when would be good? So far I’ve got four prospects including me.

This is an easy day ride from all directions. Maybe the weather will cooperate. Interested? Post up.

Thanks
Ron

I'm in... depending on when it is ill probably drag a couple buddies with... couple are FORMER cog members...

If you’re planning on going, I’d appreciate it if you would sign up for the event. The Taco Shed is a small place and might want a heads up. Thanks

Thanks Patrick.

I talked to the Taco Shed folks today. They seat about 45-50 but said 11:30 was a good time to grab some seats. See you there.

Anyone looking for a place to camp has been invited by member Robert Fiske to pitch a tent at his place in Byron GA (which is nearby). Just need to touch base with him in advance. 478-501-1418

(Thanks Fiske!)

Looking like a nice day after a little cooling dampness to start. Hope to see you there about 11:30.

Unfortunately life has gotten in the way of my plans to be there. Sadly I'll be missing y'all!! Have fun.

Well, shoot.😩 I was looking forward to seeing you. Thanks for letting us know. I’d hate to think you got lost on I-16. 😉

Next time!!

Monsoon season. OMG! Beautiful on the way home. Great tacos and conversation. The other guys have more.

Any chance of doing this in 2024? Same time frame?

Don’t see why not, just need an AAD to spearhead it. 😉 Maybe this time it’ll be dry. Last time was a monsoon. The Taco Shed was amazingly good and right by the museum.

Lets do this in 2024 ... 2-3 day weekend for NC members, easier ride for those from GA and (some) of FL

And also right near there is another great museum with a restored YC141-B Starlifter ... I flew on the 141 for several years

Maybe an RTE/S on a Saturday that starts on a Friday? Maybe someone will set it up for October or it could be an add on stop for those going to the Barber Vintage Weekend in Birmingham?

Well, I had been looking into it for marcht, but as luck would have it march wasn't gonna work for me. Mid April?

Sure. Make it convenient for you. Just pick a day when it's not cold/raining/snowing/blowing... wait it's GA...LOL
Once you pick the "perfect day", LOL, let me know if I can help.

Thanks, Patrick.
Ron
