The Concours Owners Group wishes to extend our heartfelt condolences to all impacted by the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, MD.
Miraculously, and a testament to the swift actions of the navigators and responders, more people were not injured. Heroic efforts have returned 2 bridge collapse victims to their families safe and sound. It is our greatest hope all remaining missing are rescued from the waters and brought home safely.
Separately, COGgers, this means a significant rerouting plan is now being implemented. This rerouting will add 35K vehicles daily to already congested arteries. People will be traveling unfamiliar roads and routes, the traffic will be tighter and slower (in-transit work calls will increase) anxieties, stresses and distracted drivers will increase. This is a prime opportunity for a motorcyclists to get lost in the fray and subsequently involved in a crash.

You can avoid being a victim during this time by:
- Avoiding the area if you can - best play
- Increase your visibility and travel distance - be diligent on eye contact with others
- Give the right away (even when you have the right away), distracted drivers may not see you
- Put your head on a swivel and be extra aware, above factors will result in more distracted drivers
