best way to tighten header nuts

On the other forum there were several posts about tightening header nuts.  I can't find them here.  What exactly is the minimum amount of stuff I need to take off to reach the inside header nuts?  I can reach 6 out of 8 but can't reach the other two with out dropping the radiator or something. Can you loosen the radiator without taking it off?

It's been so long since I touched my nuts that I don't remember how I did it!  :))

Seriously I did my C14 exhaust nuts a long time ago. But I think I had the fairing side panels off for something else and combined the work. I used sockets with universals and extensions and managed to get all of mine.
You should be able to remove the radiators bottom bolt and have it move some for extra room! But like I said, it's been a long while since I had to tighten mine!

I removed my lower right panel and tightened all of them. Some say they can do it without removing panels but I could not get the two center nuts.

I removed nothing, of course being a retired mechanic I have plenty of extensions and wobbly sockets, good luck

Same here (well, not retired, just changed professions).  Small hands really help too!  ;D

If you don't mind a few scratches on your hands I used a GearWrench brand ratcheting wrench with a socket.  It worked great.  You can reach about have of the header bolts from each side of the bike.

Good Luck--
