Carbone Lorraine Brake Pads

Has anyone installed the Carbone Lorraine brake pads on the front rotors and experienced any issues? It seems as though the Lorraines are taller than stock, and are rubbing on the outside edge of the rotors where there was previously no pad contact. It results in a ticking noise and even shuddering while moving at slow speeds.
Thanks for the help.

I've not tried the Carbon Lorraines but have had a set of EBC HHs and currently have a set of Ferodo HHs.
Both are very good.

Looking at the pics online the CL pad (XBK5) is so big that it's overlapping the outside of the rotor.
Personally, I would say that they are not suitable for the C14/ZX14.
Compare the shape and size of the CL pads and EBC or Ferodo pads.
The CL is definately longer.

I would not suggest using any aftermarket brake pads that did not follow the contour of the originals exactly.  Personally, I prefer pads made with ceramic material.  I recently replaced my stock pads with Galfer's ceramic pads.  I have them on my cars also.  The stopping power of these pads is excellent and their main contribution is the lack of brake dust accumulation that is both unsightly and difficult to remove.  The best source of Galfer's ceramic pads is Pashnit in California as their prices are the lowest I have found.  Their service is very good and shipping is included in the price.
