Where in Colorado do you plan to visit? We have been riding the state for two weeks and will stay another 6 days - hoteling it no camping. Tourist season is in full swing. We have ridden the San Juan Sky Loop, Black Canyon (South Rim & East Portal), Independence Pass lots of mountain passes and stayed in Cortez, Ouray, Gunnison, Salida, Canon City, Breckenridge, Leadville now in Rifle.

Great call Bob we rode the Mesa north to south. Stopped in Red Stone to check out the town & the coke ovens then to Beaver Lake. Late afternoon we went over Lizard's head Pass at 10,222' it was hailing hard - that's Colorado for you. We're spending the night in Cortez.backroadbob said:
