fender extender

Roland

Training Wheels
Has anyone tried to install the fender extender with ABS glue and without removing the fender for the install although I would think it can't be that hard to remove the fender.

I removed the fender with the wheel still on.  4 bolts on the inside.  It takes a little bit of dexterity and holding your mouth right but persistance pays off and it will come off.  I didn't use ABS glue though, I drilled 4 holes and used 4 small screws.  I'm sure the glue route will look nicer and more factory but i don't even notice the screws. Good luck.

I wouldn't do it without removing the fender. Comes off easy enough.

You have to clean and lightly sand the mating surfaces to get best adhesion.

Make sure you align the extender carefully before the glue grabs.

I'm sure it could be done without fully removing the fender. But it's so easy to yank the fender, why not just remove it?
