Who has mounted floor boards to the rear peg, where did you get the floor boards from and how where they attached? SWMBO gets cramped on either bikes after a while, so I offered to make this mod to my bike for some longer distance rides. Thanks for any info! Dave you can get them JC Whitney. I haven't done them myself but I had them on my old Goldwing. They need some slight modifications but not alot. Here you go: http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2002562/c-10111/Nty-1/p-2002562/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/N-10111/tf-Browse/s-10101/Ntk-AllTextSearchGroup?Ntt=passenger+floorboards Or item # ZX061452W Or try these: same stuff better price. http://www.shadetreepowersports.com/cgi-bin/6600B03B/mac/additmdtl.mac/showItemDetail?loadItem=70-48

I have the ones Gerry is talking about. My wife LOVES these. Before he knees would bother her after about an hour riding. Mods were pretty easy. If I recall correctly I added some rubber washers to dampen the looseness (they fold up a little too easy). Also added some rubber pads to prevent the metal on metal clanging when hitting bumps. Does this also work to prevent melted shoe goo from getting on the exhaust? If so I am interested in pictures from someone who has them installed. Thanks,

Ping the NW Area Director Bob P. Contact info in the directory, & Officers list. He installed them to stop is nephew? messing up his pipes with molten goo. He has photos and can give you the scoop. Colin Prior COG IT Director Lake Forest Park WA COG#7767 AMA#1081764 ROK#20000617

some of the pics, the floorboards look higher than the stock pegs, versus being lower. How is it they provide knee relief 2003 Concours, 51K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm

You know, that might not be a bad idea. They feel so uncomfortable, maybe I'm just wearin em wrong! Thanks everyone for the replies! I have the same concerns as Sly, maybe I'll create some mockups out of wood first. Dave Muir 1980 LTD1000 - Rocket 1999 Concours - Rocket II 1997 Dyna - wife's CT-COG #3649 Merchandise Czar

I also just installed the ones from JC Whitney that Gerry B posted, work great and are much better for the rider.

I believe the relief comes from the ability to move the feet forward or backwards as opposed to being 'locked' into one position on a footpeg. Been looking to do this myself, just haven't pulled the trigger yet....:)
