Paulie said: [Do they have pavement, gas, food, etc? IOW, izzit a good idear?] Apologies for the late reply; just saw this. Yes, the roads in and out are paved - but - can be in some state of disrepair. I was over there a few weeks ago and the usual bad section coming in from the east had been freshly paved. A couple of other areas that are usualy OK, were torn up a little. Regardless, all of it is navigable(sp?), you just need to use good sense and judgement with regards to speed. Food - OMG! Yes (at the Hutte). Gas, not in Helvetia proper, but a station on the way in from the east, and also one coming in from the west off rte. 20. I will be over there this w/e for a Ramp Festival and will give you an update on the road conditions when I get back home.
