After I finished swapping the header again, and rolled the bike off the lift, I was sitting on the seat looking under the left side of the dash and noticed a bolt that had loosened up.
I don't know if the 08's & 09's have this bolt in the same place, but on the 10's and 11's, you should add this one to the maintenance check list.
If you look just below the left side of the dash with the front wheel turned all the way to the left, just right of the rubber cover over the left headlight bulb, you should see a bolt with a 10mm head, holding a shiny aluminum bracket. Mine was backed out over 1/4 of an inch.
