Fuel tanks the same?

Need a new fuel tank for my recently acquired 2012. eBay has a handful. They all look identical accept for the drain/vent line connections in the back. Some have 3, some have 2. The ones with 3 have red and blue stickers above them. My 12 just has 2. Does it make a difference? Can I put any year tank on mine? Sure would be helpful if I could.

The 3 line tanks are for the California emissions model, and yes you can use that tank if that is what is available.

Since you have the 2 (non cal) route your hose on the side with the 2 tank connections (throttle side/right hand ) to the inside connection (breather hose will have a blue dot on tank), and plug the outside connection (fuel return hose will have a red dot on tank). The fuel return hose comes from the fuel separator, which you don't have.

The left side tank connection (clutch side) is the drain hose, which is the same for both tanks.

Thanks that’s exactly what I needed!
