Harley rain gear / heated gear

Granted, HD clothing is obscenely expensive.

The 2 piece rain suit is great. Lightweight but completely waterproof. Doesn't snag on things so far. Has a great built in rain hood. The pants zip to the knee, making it easy to pull over boots. The rain flaps over the zippers work.

You get what you pay for.

The heated gear is very good. I've worn it in 26 degree weather, and under the rain suit. The remote arm mounted controls are easy to use, and the battery lasts for days of riding.

You can adjust heat balance between jacket and pants, even between pants and socks and jacket and gloves.

Good gear!

My cold weather gloves are HD.  Love 'em.  Yes they were a Hundred Dollars, but they're really comfy and warm.  Quality gear, at a quality price.

May have changed over the years but KBC used to make the Harley helmets and tourmaster made some of their textiles, I have a few items hanging out in my garage.

Cold weather in FL, like when it gets below 70 degrees??

:))

Any Floridian COGger does most of his best riding Out of Florida....  but we see 40's in the AM in winter...  this year it fell on a Saturday.    ;D

I spent enough time in Florida this year that when I came to Knoxville, I made Fais loan me his Alpaca jacket and an extra layer under that. I was cold!

Its just going to get worse now that I'm a resident (at least for another month and then every winter thereafter).

I've worn my HD heated gear (all of it, jacket, pants, sock liners, glove liners) in 26 degree ambient weather, with a wind chill of what, at 60-ish, 15 degrees or less?

Sure, I had to set the wrist-mounted bluetooth controller all the way to max heat, but it worked great.
