I posted my headlight mod on a c10 Facebook page but some of the member here may not have seen it I took the original headlight separated glass from the plastic housing. Bought a jeep Cherokee 5x7 led headlight and sandwiched it inside the housing. Had to do a little cutting of the 5x7 housing the get it to fit and had to use a few washers to aim it correctly it’s not as powerful as an led bulb in the original headlight but it looks pretty good and kinda updates the bike IMG_0006.jpeg

I agree that it looks good/update's the look.
But are you saying it does that but supplies less light?
Less light then replacing the oem bulb with a quality led. However the 5x7 I used was around $35 dollars to you may be able to get a brighter one. I added another led below. It’s still plenty bright but the oem led replacement bulb was very good.
