Hi there everyone! I think I'm back on now with the new website--I'm not new to COG, been a member since 2003, but it is great to see that COG is still going strong. I was reading in the latest Concourier that Dave Owen was selected for OTP!! Great people deserve great things. Dave was so helpful, and hospitable to my son, brother and me in our first major motorcycle trek to Alaska! Thanks Dave and good luck to you in Europe! Bill, Glad to hear from you again. I met you on the Northern Exposure trip with your brother and your son. Arizona is home right? We did the ride in the pouring rain then headed down to the National in Centralia in 2005. I think you guys headed south on the ferry?? Yeah this site is coming along and well, so is COG! Bob?---Yes, I remember you and the awesome ride! Just checked out your ride report--brought back some excellent memories! Yes, we rode the ferry down to Vancouver Island then rode all day in a light rain to Victoria. What a trip that was! It's good to see that you are so involved in this organization. Everyone here was very helpful when I started riding again in 2003, especially for advice on long distance rides. Keep up the good work for COG and hopefully I will be able to make it back up to the Northwest again--this time on my '03 ZZR1200 (I sold my Connie, tough to do but could not afford two bikes). Hey Bill, Welcome over, I'm just getting used to this one too... although I still keep an eye on concours.org as well still. I was down in your neck of the woods a couple months ago- in Gilbert- for a company restaurant opening. If you get a chance, try the fare at Brio Tuscan Grille over there. Also, we'll have one opening in Scottsdale in the spring that I'll probably be back for now that I think of it! Hope to catch up with you at a rally or event sometime. :) Steve K.
