I picked up a Barney bike today. She sat unran for about 5 years in a garage. My goal is to bring her back to life and then resist the urge to keep her. I've been riding for a bit over 20 years. My current rides are a Z125 that I bought new and put almost 13,000 mostly commute miles on and, on the opposite end of the naked bike spectrum, a recent project turned own bike 1978 GL1000 Old Wing.

I find it therapeutic to buy bikes that don't run, bring them back to life, and then find someone who will love them. Recent projects include a pretty rough 03 Honda CB750 and an 07 Suzuki C50.

This is the first Concours I have dealt with, but I have always had a soft spot for them. Kawasaki really hit a home run with the initial design. I will try to get some photos up once I get some hosted somewhere. I will also start a thread where I can post progress and ask questions.

Lets do a Quabin ride? It was a 2012 with 13k miles on it for $7200 loaded with extras.

Although I really need to get my feet under me. I have not ridden for 25 years.
So I need some practice runs for a while.

Used to ride a Honda CB 750 supersport then graduated to a KZ1000,.. rode for about 10 years when younger.

Both Awesome bikes but this Connie is way beyond them!

I gotta get this one running first, haha. I haven't taken a trip around the Quabbin in a few years. Last time I did it was on my Z125. Good times!
