My oldest son bought a R-1 a couple of months ago. He took it to a local dealer last Wed. for new tires. Their story is "They put it on the lift and went to lunch. When they returned the bike was laying on the floor with $4,500 dollars damages". The good news is "for only another $1200 they will give him a new Rossi replica." He took the deal, but is bummed that he now has to go through another break in period. I told him that I would break it in for him but no dice. Actually, I don't like the R-1. It does not fit my body shape very well.
