How my Dunlop RSIII's fared.

Finished their useful life on the 850 miles, 3 hot days ride to the Central WA Meet and Great. Overall I was happy with how they stuck to the roads, in all temperatures from upper 20's to upper 90's, fairly stable even when cold. Took everything I threw at them. Cut a day off my ride as they looked tired, and I FELT tired. Total mileage was 7798 miles, but the rear was done at 7500. Better than the 6K I was expecting but most of the riding was in colder, straight commuting.
Going to try the Michelin Road 6 GT next.

Michelin Pilot road 4, not sure what GTS stands for "Grand Touring Sport" or "Street" maybe?
Right on. Thanks. Sounds like a good tire. Around $250 usually for the rear, $450 or so for the pair? Does that sound about right?

I am a newer Connie owner so I am really soaking all this up!

Thank you! I will put them on the research rotation/comparison! I always look for the best deals and usually end up settling back with Dennis Kirk.

Last time I looked a few days ago, Rocky Mountain was about the same price as everyone else for the tires, but no shipping.

I have been watching prices on the RS 3s for a while now. They are all pretty to close and almost a $100 more than a year ago.

As a side note I refuse to do business with price match companies. That always seemed scammy to me.

RS 4s are a good step up from the 3s. Longer tread life and better stick, or so was my experience.

I picked up RS 4's from my dealer for $295 plus got a $40 rebate which is on now.
WOW - That is a terrific price, sounds like a free front tire to me! This was a set right? Thinks I’ll swing up if you would share the dealer name, for sure they’d like some more business!

Seriously - if this pricing is for a set I’ll be in the region this weekend and would oblige them to sell another set of tires at that price. And if they are willing to deliver we could probably get a few more buyers too! All them mentioning your name, get you a discount on something else!!

Can never be too eager on a good price for set of new shoes!
