I’m sure a lot of guys would like to run coil on plug. It’s very easy. Here’s a diagram. Take your oem coil to the auto parts store and find a male connector that fits over the connector on the coil and then find and buy a small box of the female connectors that fit inside the male connector that fit your oem coil. You need 4 minimum. You can buy new coils if you like or just buy a set of used coils that include the harness off eBay. That’s what I did. The newer the better. Your going to cut up the original harness they send you and wire it like the picture shows. I use non insulated connectors crimped and heat shrink the connections. You can solder if you like. I used a cardboard box and measured the distance between each spark plug hole and inserted the coils. Then I made the the harness. It will be two separate harnesses. After I had the wires set to the length I wanted and had everything nice and neatly secured with electrical tape I used split loom to cover the wires. I put the connectors so they would be close to where the oem connections were. You will want to use the tops of your spark plug boots to slide over the coils to keep the spark plug holes water tight. Here’s a list of coils that will work.

I used zx9 coils first then tried zx14 with higher resistance and they seemed better. Idk why. Have at it though it’s very easy. I suggest getting the newest set of coils you can find if your going the used eBay route.

I think that what you call "negative" (yes technical it does go negative) in your schematic would be better labeled as Trigger for 1-4 and trigger for 2-3.
