I Don't Own One But...

Big Wheel
I don't have a connie myself but I have been on my dad's "Roma" and it is a wonderful bike above 25mph. I had fun with it but I'm still too young for that kind of beast. I currently ride an '09 Yamaha R6S. I have limited riding experience but it is a great way to get around and a lot of fun. I intend to ride as long as I'm able and eventualy I will give in and realy join the club ;) but it will be a few years. I figuer I've gotta be at least >25 and/or married before I give in to the sport-touring bike, but I'm looking forward to lurking the forum and seeing what I can learn.

Age really has nothing to do with it...  there are different bikes for different purposes.  While you can tour on a R6, a sport-touring specific bike can be more comfortable for those 400+ mile days.
