Ok, so I get the stock shock out. Fit the new one, and start looking for the bracket.  Hummm.. no bracket.  Email Traxxion, get one back from Mike, sorry.. we’ll get it right out. Ok, so this afternoon, I think I’ll go all Kindig-It and make my own.

So off to the wife’s welding studio with my cardboard template. (Yeah, you read that right, the wife’s shop)...lol.  Dig out a chunk of plate steel, fire up the plasma cutter, spark, spark spark, whoosh.. cut out an outline, start grinding...

Holy hell, this is harder than it looks on tv...  end result, unless I’m desperate to ride in the coming 5f weather we’re gonna get, I’ll wait to get the right bracket. ;)
