Kirt Dix has had a drop on the right side of his C-10. He is in need of a right side saddle bag antler and right side foot peg bracket - not the peg itself. The metric bolt that Concours owners use for an emergency foot peg would also be helpful in lieu of the peg. He would like to buy, borrow, or what ever these pieces ASAP. Kirt Dix is back on the road. After giving Kirt 2 names of local Concours Owners Group members in the Wausau, WI area, he called both with no answer. A subsequent call back, a few minutes later, hooked him up with Dave Messerschmidt. who offered to pick Kirt up, take him to his home for Kirt to remove the needed parts from his Concours, and take him back to his bike. From the time Kirt called me, to the time he is back on the road was a little over 2 hours (!). Thanks to Dave. COG rules. Unfortunately it was reported earlier today that Kirt's engine grenaded and he'll be trying to get to the banquet in a Rental.
