As the article states I to believe these statistics are from the original Hurt Report.  But it kinda shows you where on your noggin the impacts are most frequently absorbed by a full face helmet. OR if you are not wearing a full face then where you are most likely to absorb the impact with your face.

Vulnerability is one of many issues with riding a bike. Reducing your vulnerability to injury due to impacts will greatly increase your survivability.
