I always wear a KLIM Traverse jacket and Traverse pants when I'm going the distance
For local stuff I like Carhartt uninsulated, cotton canvas overalls because of the pockets, zippered pant legs but mostly, they're cool in summer heat
Not near as bulky
I'm treating my KLIM gear with Revivex wash-in water repellent
The repellent is heat-activated when you put the gear through a heat, dry-cycle

For those rain-days, has anyone ever tried treating the Carhartt's with the Revivex?
