Just purchased a '03 Connie & have been look'n @ possible engine / timing advances . . My question is ~~ Would a 4degree timing advance or exhaust cam sprocket be a better choice for increasing low & mid range TQ & better roll-on performance TextText

You might want to post this in the C10 section. The people over there may know more about it. You might get better answers! ;) Bionic Bob COG & AMA member First C14 CDA member #0220 08 C14,03 Mean Streak, & 86 C10

I loved my 03. I would more than likely still have her if disaster didn't strike. Yes I have a C14. But I also went the other way and bought an 86 as a restoration project! Bionic Bob COG & AMA member First C14 CDA member #0220 08 C14,03 Mean Streak, & 86 C10

I had an 05 and it didn't lack torque. Past 6000 rpm to went to hyperdrive! Always two up and loaded for long distance. Never a wanted for more. Put 137,000 miles on that thing. Ran strong till I sold it. On a C14 now. I say don't diddle with it just ride it! UP
