The weather is going to be splendid this Saturday the 9th, I'm headed to Waldo, Ohio for a world famous fried bologna sandwich at the G & R Tavern on Marion St. I plan to be there about 11:30AM if anybody wants to sit down and hang out, have something to eat and be regaled by my extensive knowledge of numbers, favorite 9mm loads, floor paint, and general useless things to know, stop by.

I can’t make it Dave.

I don’t have the gear to comfortably ride in the 40 degree temperatures

I don’t ride enough to justify the expense of buying a new Aerostitch / Klim ….I keep looking for used used ones, but so far none of em have fit my short / over weight ..self

Enjoy the ride
Bob

I use a cooler weather jacket and layer clothes, I have a heated vest but never really needed it. This will be the coolest morning for me in quite awhile. See you next time.

Can’t these be tailored? I think I have seen some posts about it.

Was going to come over but I better stay close to home with Rain coming and 10th anny this weekend.

MEt her when she was on a Harley . Bought her a proper Sports Tourer and she never rode the Harley again. Now that she has given up bikes for Quilting machines I gotta keep ker "lil Boxer based Sewing machine" Happy....Tough job but someone has to do it.

Enjoy G and R. Always worth the ride. Got a feeling I am going to get my Warm N Safe out today. Should be a good day for a ride......till the rain hits us in IN diana

Well, to say it was cool is a bit of an understatement. It was cool, not the coldest I've ridden though. It did not get above 40F till about an hour away, then it struggled to 43F when I pulled into the lot. BTW, the forecast was for 62 and sunny. Just my finger tips on the right hand were a bit chilly with the grip warmers on half, it's because of damage done when I was a kid. Anyhow, had a great sandwich while perusing my maps, then, stopped at the Sportsmen's Den on the way back and bought some .22 ammo. A bit of a boring ride through the central OH farmlands, fairly flat and maybe 3 curves worthy of note, 200 miles total in early November is a banner day for us here in the snow belt.
