Any one know where I can get an oil pressure sending unit. Son broke the connectors off his in his wreck last year. "If it hasn't killed me yet, it's runnin out of time" COG # 8062 AMA # 1084053 ROMA or Scarlet harlot acording to my wife

http://www.ronayers.com/ http://www.bikebandit.com/ There are several places to find this kind of information here on the site. WEB Maint/Link section and the Vendors section in the Members area have some good stuff. Photos[/url]

Thanks, I had looked at BikeBandit, they didn't have the oil pan flitch, hence no sending unit. Used your link for Ron Ayers and they had the right flitch and the sending unit. I have found that buying direct from Kawasaki is cheaper for single items as you don't pay the high cost of mailing in from Ron A. Bill Lake City Kawa is just down the road from me I can always pickup parts from them for you on the way home and mail it to you.

Thanks Colin, The unit is not leaking but the electrical connections were sheared off in the wreck James had last summer. Only real problem is No oil light. He changed the oil yesterday and only got 2-1/2 quarts out including the filter. Yes he did pull both drain plugs after much discussion of whether or not there really was 2 plugs. Got about 1/2 quart out of second plug. A lot of fine metal in the oil which had him scarred until I reminded him of the broken star washer that he replaced a couple of weeks ago.
