Overflow relocation.

Pete

Big Wheel
Okay, if I was going to run my C10 with out the lower fairing, where would I relocate the coolant overflow to? Can it go behind the upper fairing somewhere and does it have to be below the top of the radiator? Any advice?

I have seen where someone mounted the oem bottle behind the battery box somehow. Others mounted other bottles but got them back around the battery somewhere and made them work. It can be done. Photos[/url]

Fits nicely between bat box and rear fender. Son put his there on his naked 86. "If it hasn't killed me yet, it's runnin out of time" COG # 8062 AMA # 1084053 ROMA or Scarlet harlot acording to my wife

I made an overflow bottle out of a small prestone radiator flush bottle, and I mounted it on the right side of the battery box with some industrial strength velcro. Fits under the side cover nicely, and unobstructive to anything else on the bike. Steve

if you don;t have a cali bike (smog stuff) you can mount it on the right side (remove right side cover, plenty of space.) using a Ninja 250 bottle, did that on my 01. Simple to do.
