Here is a photo on my rear Dunlop E-3 tire with 18 months & 21,111 miles on it. If I wanted only to keep slabing I think I could get another 2~3k more out of them. But in the twesties they suck now....I have a very good flat spot.... I have the Pilot GT's on order to try next. Summer in Yuma is not hell, but hell is a local call :) 2006 Connie

Yuma: Nice to see that you got >21,000 out of the E3. I wore out the previous Elite 2 491 this spring (with >23,000) and switched to the E3's. Broke the tires in last week and took it out for a 180 miles today. Got a little wet and didn't push them hard as the new tire goo is still on them. For my type of riding (95% with two up) the E3s seemed a nice step up from the E2's. Radial or Bias? Tom

21K Wow! I've been running Avons and they suck for mileage. Great handling tires, but after 8400 miles it squared off so bad then started to "peel". Yes I hold a 43 psi in the rear and it still squared off. Almost looks as bad as Dandemotomans car tire set up! HA! AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! Tom they are the Bias ply. Which for two up are great because they have a very GREAT weight limit, up 75~100 lbs more then most.. As for the life, I should have changed them 3k ago, mostly for the few times I get in to the twesties... With that flat spot there is little shoulder to hug the corners with and she dances around a lot now. But in the streights... :) she's great. I've run 40~44 psi in the tires and the front could go for another 6~9 months..
