Rear tire Hugger

The rear tire hugger is a wonderful upgrade. Yes, it serves multiple purposes. I have had one for years and the rear of the bike does stay clean from debris.
Does anyone have a picture or a product link of this item?
I had a Hugger on my C-14.
& At he time I also had the taller/190/55 tire.
Things were close but the Hugger seemed to be working out ok..
And then I went to the Track Day in Florida.
After several sessions the tire suddenly ripped the hugger completely off the bike.
{Luckily, no one hit it as it slid down the track, and I didn't go down}.
Not sure what caused the tire to rip the hugger off.
Thinking it was tire expansion from the Speeds or rubber build-up from the track.
But whatever it was, it definitely got my attention!

Yikes! Glad that all worked out well and you kept the rubber side down.
Thank you for bringing this up, although my plans will never include running a taller tire, will keep this in consideration during installation and inspect the clearance throughout.
do you have link or where did you order your hugger from?
Used eBay, searched under GTR, Concours 14 rear tire hugger. The ones that show up are usually in England and shipping is about $50.00 could not find a supplier in the states.

Is your bike lowered?
Yes, (lowered 3/4") but the Hugger attaches to the swingarm so the lowering doesn't make it any closer to the tire.

I've run different sizes without issue, a few 200s even.
It must be the installer
It's the CF version, It's been on so long I don't even think about it.
Just a replete bitch on my part, two times I lowered mine, then decided I didn't like the results,
It was giving me jolts to buttocks, some may like, not me.

Nahh. But, (since both of us were at the track day together) I understand completely why "you" didn't have the issues.

I'll be happy to show you how to set up your suspension sometimes.
