Rebuilding BMW air head help

crisp

Training Wheels
My son is rebuilding an older air head to put into a Dneper. All is good except a special tool is needed to install the main rear seal on the engine. Just wanted to know if anyone in the Seattle area would have one I could borrow? --chris - on the trailing edge of technology

Chris, If he hasn't done so he might check with the Airheads forums. I used to hang around there and they were pretty active and helpful. http://www.bmwmoa.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=13 There are two or three forums for the airhead bikes nowadays. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. He is checking other places, I just thought I woud see about here. The tool is only $35 or so. If he doesn't find someone right away he will buy one. He is frugal enough for a connie so he doesn't want to buy a one time tool. :) --chris - on the trailing edge of technology
