red and then blank dash?

Anybody had problem with there dash going out?
I have 2010 ABS; depending on how I park with the Sun's direct light the dash goes red then blank? 
 
My dash fades out if left in the direct sunshine for too long. I have an 08. After a short while it returns to normal, so I never really saw it as a problem. Never notice the dash turning red though.  ;)
 
I don't have this bike, but I do have experience with Liquid Crystal displays.  I've got an old monochrome GPS and if it sits in the sun it'll turn black pretty quickly.  Since I live in Florida, this is a pretty common occurrence and the display goes back to normal once it cools down a bit.  If I'm leaving Connie in the sun, I'll put my gloves over the screen and the screen stays normal.

Not sure this is your problem, but I figured I'd relate my own experience.  Hope it's as simple as that!
 
My 09 does the same thing, When I park in the sun I put my gloves over it to keep the direct sunlight from getting to it, works fine for me.
