To all riders N Texas and S Oklahoma: Ride For Kids October 5, 2008 more info: www.rideforkids.org location: Grapevine Mills 3000 Grapevine Mills Pkwy. Grapevine, TX 76051 Join Motorcyclists Oct 5, 2008 for "RIDE FOR KIDS" The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Research & Family Support Fundraiser at Grapevine Mills Mall. Registration 8-9:45am, Ride 10am, Recognition Ceremonies & Refreshments. Every day 9 children are diagnosed with a brain tumor, 4 of whom will die within 5 years of diagnosis. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation donates 89% of the donation to research and family support, 5% for fundraising and 6% to administration. It is our goal to find the cause and cure; aide in early detection of tumors; develop new, less invasive therapies to extend the lives of these children and improve their quality of life; and provide family support. We hope to increase public awareness of the severity and prevalence of this disease thru education and events.
