Start Time:  10:30am

We will leave Lowell’s Restaurant at 10:30am and ride to the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret, CT for lunch.  After lunch we will ride to the U.S.S. Nautilus Submarine and Museum at One Crystal Lake Road, Groton, CT. 06340.  Parking and Entry to the Museum is Free.

Due to severe inclement weather, a decision was made to move the ride to Sunday 8/5/18.  Same start time, location etc.

Thanks Greg for posting the change in date.  I wish it hadn't been necessary but it is looking like the thunderstorms tomorrow would have been tracking right over our route and at the same time as we would be there.  Hope to see everyone on Sunday!

By the way, 60 years ago today the U.S.S. Nautilus passed under the north pole on her epic voyage under the arctic ice cap!
 
Looking like a nice sunny day on Sunday.  Down near the sub it will be mid 80's - stay cool.
I highly recommend a Camel Back filled with ice water to keep hydrated on a hot day.
