hello, on my way home from work today a lady side swiped me and tore off the saddle bag  i have not looked at it yet is the latch pop riveted or screwed tom the bag thanks for any help geofd

All of the latches are secured to the bags with very small screws. Hopefully, they are still inside the bag.

If your bag is toast, save the locks. If you get a replacement bag it may not come with the same keyed lock. My repair shop damaged one of my bags and got me a new one, but it came in with the wrong locks, so I had to scavenge the old locks off the damaged bag to put on the new bag. There are only two lock/key combos, Type-A and Type-B, just like personalities. The letter will be stamped on your key.
