I am going with the popular Shinko 777 rear. Bought it from google sourced Western Power Sports who apparently sourced it from Cedar Rapids Tire Co.

Date code = 51 16. So that's roughly a 7 week old tire. Works for me.

I haven't used a bias tire in so many moons -- do I need a tube for this Shinko to roll on a 2004 C10? I would think no, but can't hurt to ask.

No tube required for a tubeless tire on a tubeless rim. I'm running the Shinko 777 as well. Like it a lot.
