Thanks to Mary Anne and Steve Raab for putting on a great outing this past weekend. Forty, give or take a few, showed up and enjoyed great food, roads, companionship, and conversation. It was a great show! Jeff Just and Ruby were hit while stationary (waiting to exit the eating establishment) when an inattentive driver rear ended the car turning into the establishment. Both Jeff and Ruby thrown off the bike - bike is not rideable. Steve Raab picked them and the bike up and took them to the SpringGreen gathering, and Jeff and Joane Kerkow provided transport for them and the bike to get back to Minot North Dakota from Wisconsin. Both Jeff and Ruby were wearing FULL GEAR. Those who saw the incident said they both "flew" off the bike. It was bad enough, but without helemts, etc. it might have been tragic. They were sore, but seem to be healing now. They enjoyed the gathering as much as you can when an event like that happens to you. They were troopers. pics posted at
