Stock Seat or Aftermarket...What do you have?

I bought my 98 a couple months ago and it came with a Corbin on it. I rode it with that seat for about 1500 miles and was not happy at all with the feel, so I bought a stock seat off of eBay and like it much much better! My question is how many of you are happy with your stock seat, or have a stock seat that you have have modified in some way? I'm not 100% happy with my stock one, and am thinking about sending it to Spencer for some reshaping and adding some different foam in strategic areas. Lets hear some opinions from the rest of you. I was happy with the stock in winter. Summer I had to add beads. I got a used Russel Daylong and so far am happy with it but still almost happier in 90+ temps with the stock and beads. You name it and someone has done it. Photos[/url]

I have a russell, but if the stock works for you then keep it as it is. AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! I rode the stock seat for 1 yr and decided that it was too soft. I had spencer change the foam in just the riders area and left the passenger area alone. This seems to have worked out just fine. I'm happy with the results. Mark

My 90 came from PO with a 06 seat. I added beads and love it. COG # 8062 AMA # 1084053 ROMA or Scarlet harlot acording to my wife

I forgot to mention I bought beads to use witht he rock hard Corbin, and they helped tremendously, and have yet tried the beads with the stock seat. I am seriously looking at doing a Saddle Sore 1000 in the Spring and am trying to figure out my best bet seat wise. I'll keep on putting on the "test" miles and probably end up having Spencer do mods for me after it gets too cold to ride for a while. Thanks for the input folks! Doug Wood DeSoto,IL AMA#1090587

Stock seat was fine until the foam collapsed. Ran an early model (pre '94) seat for many years, but not good for the passenger. On my second C10 again collapsed the stock foam, heard of Spencer's Seat http://www.greatdaytoride.com/ and have been very pleased with what he did to the stocker seat. Love it. Had the Supracor "LD" upgrade, operator and passenger section done, about 90 bucks plus shipping, 3 day turn around.
