Gary Hasert is hosting a Tech Session at his home in Bloomington MN on April 22nd. Gary has a tire changer, lift, and a nicely equipped shop.

Bring your bike and get it ready for the riding season or just come and hang out.

Previous projects have included all types of brake repair, C10 valve adjustment, electrical accessory installation, wheel bearing replacement, C14 plastic replacement, tire replacement and balancing, and many more. There will be attendees there who have experience with repairs on both the C14 and C10.

More information and to RSVP check out the COG Calendar of Events.

I’ll be there, but it will be with a Triumph instead of my C14. I need to feed my vanity by replacing the cheap plastic brake fluid reservoirs with the functionally equivalent, yet terribly expensive, Triumph anodized reservoirs. You know, essential equipment.

It’ll probably take 20 minutes total, but should be worth some heckling.

I'll be installing a voltmeter on my Tracer, another 20 minute job.

Are there any Concours out there which need any work? We don't want this to be COG Tech session and only work on a Triumph and a Yamaha?

I gotta ‘87 C10 that could be resurrected easily, my FJR is old enough to vote and is missing a few maintenance recommendations, looking at the weather and the time it would take I don’t have the fire to take on that right now. What I will do is pick apart any bike in view, a refreshed riding season begins and a good start is at Gary’s tech session, rain or shine.
