FYI, the COG Wildflower Ride is at the River Inn in Hunt Texas this weekend. I plan to be there.

Glad you can make it Fred. I was going to send a reminder via email to the area but just figured if they aint booked yet then its to late anyway. I was told COG has 19 rooms booked. ---------------------------------- South Central Area Director Email scad@cog-online.org

Anyone coming that hasn't gotten their reservations or can't find anything... let me know at presbychuck at hotmail dot com and I will find you a place. Let's ride.

Well I will let the others show the bikes and bbq. These are the only ones I took worth showing. May want high speed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/20211686@N05/sets/72157616397757340/show/ Slide show does not work for all so try this. http://www.flickr.com/photos/20211686@N05/sets/72157616397757340/ ---------------------------------- South Central Area Director Email scad@cog-online.org

Nice photos. Unfortunately I never even took my camera out of my trunk on this trip, so I don't have any to share. I do have lots of photos from previous Wildflower Rides posted here: http://www.pbase.com/fredharmon/wildflowerride We were having a discussion last night about when this ride was started, and I looked at some of my dates on my old photos, but I'm still not sure on the dates. I think maybe the first ride we did out of the River Inn Resort was back in 2000 or 2001. Prior to that, we used the old Sands Hotel in Kerrville which is now torn down and a bank is built in its place. I think it is Popeye that actually hosted the first Wildflower Ride back in 96 or 97 and it just took off from there. It's all pretty fuzzy for me trying to remember back that far. Its impressive that this ride has continued on as long as it has. It's always great to see familiar faces and enjoy the River Inn and great roads and flowers this time of year. Hope everyone didn't get too beat up by the wind going home. Take Care, Fred
