used oil cooler

Bicycle
i have a 97 concours it started leking oil last season i had greater boston motor sports tune up and check the leak they said the oil cooler rotted out they say the new one is 2 weeks out or they have a mi 90s cooler im skeptical about buying something that old and used...any thoughts thanks geofd

Just like the rest of the bike it all depends on care and feeding. If kept clean, dry and free of abuse then it should be fine. If not well.... Pay less for older ones. If desperate I may have one in the attic. I would like to keep it there but for a friend in need I might let go. It is old and untested also. Photos[/url]
