Greetings, Quick question for all you experienced at wrenching on the C10. The mounting bolt on my 1999 C10 disappeared and of course the pipe pulled out dumping out coolant. Well the question is, what size bolt do I need to get to replace the missing one. And should I coat the threads with something to keep it from disappearing as well. Novice wrench here, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Okay, I'm so empty headed. My wife went on line to cheapcycleparts.com or something like it and presto...schematic of cooling system I found the parts and ordered them. Still any help with the question on coating the bolt would be helpful...thanks, again. ;)
 
I've never used any threadlocker on this bolt before. Just make sure the o ring on the pipe I believe it is a 25mm (but the fiche will tell you for sure) is in good condition and when you re-install the pipe the seal "seats" when you tighten the bolt down.
