This trip just showed up on ADV about a trail in Idaho. Definitely not for me any longer.... especially with a KLR.

That looks like something one would do just to say they've done it, it just doesn't look like fun to me. The two track gravel road going much faster at the end of part 2 (20:43) looked to be much more enjoyable.

Riding that trail with $6 will get you a coffee at Starbucks...with maybe some change left over. The same as not riding that trail and hiking it instead.

Just because it is there, doesn't mean it is smart to do it. Single-track that far out and on a cliff edge is a good way to get killed.

It looked like the scenery was wonderful, but he didn't really see it till he stopped. There's no way you could navigate that on a bike --- and look at the area you are going through.

And...was there anyone else within two days journey that could help him if he broke his leg?
