Hello folks! Just wondering what this powerlet is for on the Heli Bar with Ram Ball. It certainly isnt standard and I dont recognize what it accepts. Some kind of heated gear, maybe? See pics....thanks!
Looks like a standard Powerlet socket to me, to be used for what ever you need power for. Sorry I don't have Heli Bars so maybe I'm wrong but I do have a Powerlet socket I installed on the side of my C14 when I ran heated gear wiring. I think the powelet type plugs and sockets are much more reliable and don't pop out as much as the "regular" 12v ones do (like the one that comes on a C14 dash). The male part for your socket is pictured below.Hello folks! Just wondering what this powerlet is for on the Heli Bar with Ram Ball. It certainly isnt standard and I dont recognize what it accepts. Thank you so much! The Powerlet is a 12 volt plug connection. The benefit of Powerlet is that it's more compact and secure (doesn't fall out) compared to the standard 12V outlet like you have on the right side. Here's an Amazon adapter plug that gives you two USB ports - https://www.amazon.com/DaierTek-Powerlet-Motorcycle-Voltmeter-Waterproof/dp/B08R9KXFH6/ref=sxin_15_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.d17ca69f-1a39-4f7d-a62f-e5dff4cfd6d8:amzn1.sym.d17ca69f-1a39-4f7d-a62f-e5dff4cfd6d8&crid=3UC8TRDORU3X9&cv_ct_cx=powerlet&keywords=powerlet&pd_rd_i=B08R9KXFH6&pd_rd_r=68b6f49e-754d-4792-909f-331c668868a9&pd_rd_w=HamdS&pd_rd_wg=Pm9qj&pf_rd_p=d17ca69f-1a39-4f7d-a62f-e5dff4cfd6d8&pf_rd_r=WWYC69ZRP201JG7N7Y1M&qid=1703020128&sbo=RZvfv//HxDF+O5021pAnSA==&sprefix=powerlet,aps,224&sr=1-1-364cf978-ce2a-480a-9bb0-bdb96faa0f61-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&psc=1
