WTB - C-10 Fairing - 2001 => Will a '88 fairing work too?

While fixing tabs on my 2001, someone asked me if buying a different year fairing would fit.  There is a '88 fairing for sale that I would like to obtain.

I have thought that most years of C-10 fit each other.

Any confirmation out there would be appreciated.

Answer depends on what part of the fairing you need to replace... The main fairing is different, the inner fairing parts are different, but the mid fairings and the lower fairing are interchangeable.
