Bottom cowl cut out

I keep mine clean down under just to be able to see if she has any leaks and the other for maintenance . So I was just worried about the downside of cutting the rear part out for ease.

I thought I had pictures, but can't find them now. Anyway, I cut the entire backend section out when I did mine a number of years ago with no effects what-so-ever.
 
Well, i.found it and lost it...lol. ill.find it they didn't have pics,.just.a.descriptor on how much to.cut out..
