Folks,
I've got an excellent shape 1988 ZG1000 that I got in trade a few years back, and just finished up getting ready to sell. Just over 28000 miles. Cleaned the carbs and put in new needles and float bowl gastkets. Fresh oil change. New Spark Plugs. Thing fires right up and runs like a dream, took it for a spin yesterday. Tires are still in decent shape. I'm also open to various trades for project cars or race car parts if interested. Been sitting quite a while and just need it gone before i start parting it out. Give me a shout and we'll work out a deal! Clean IL Title!

Update: I tried repairing the gas tank, but it's still weeping, so will need patched. Asking $1000 as is. Willing to negotiate just need it gone.

Edit for updated price.

what's reasonble for one like this?  2200?  2k?  still way out of the ballpark?  Again got a bit of room to work always rather start on the high end.

thanks for the input!

Not to hurt your feelings, but $1500 might be a place to start negotiations.  Nice bike, but 32 years old and newer models can be had for a song and dance.

Appreciate the info!  Figured the low mileage and good condition would help even with the age, but understand.

I'd look to start at 1700 for anyone on here, but willing to negotiate.

Gas tank repair failed, dropping price to 1000 just to get it gone. Willing to trade/negotiate. Make an offer. If I don't get anything will likely part it out.
