2 line or 3 line front brake replacement?

Brent_OR

Tricycle
Hi All! I want to upgrade to SS brake lines on my '03 this winter. I see that Murph's offers Spiegler lines in 2 and 3 line configurations. I noticed the 2 line configuration that bypasses the junction fitting is $30 cheaper. Are there any negatives attached to going this route? Thanks a lot for your input!

Nope. Most people go the 2 line route. Its supposed to be easier to bleed. And removing that splitter down on the triple clamps ended up being a good place to mount a aftermarket Stebel horn. 2003 Concours, 46K COG #6953 IBA 28004 http://mysite.verizon.net/slybones/Concours/connieMain.htm

I went the two line route. I like it. No problems. Yuma, Summer in Yuma is not hell, but hell is a local call :) 2006 Connie http://community.webshots.com/user/Lateck?vhost=community

The 2 line system is 1/3 less confusing as the 3 line system. Or is that 1/2 as confusing?? Damn! Anyway I did the 2 lines as well. ;p AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! When you say "2 line", do you mean 2 lines going from the master cyl. to each caliper, or 1 line from the master to the right caliper and a crossover line to the left :quest: Just want to be clear. Doug 2002 Concours 1983 Suzuki GS650MD Katana AMA # 593738 COG # 8588
