Folks, mark your calendars and ride your bike down to Horne's Restaurant in Port Royal, VA for a brekkie and ride, 9 AM Sunday 20 January 2013. Jim Sparkman will have a ride for us after the coffee is done. All is "weather permitting", of course.  :great:  :motonoises:

It was a rare and pretty day for January, lows in low-mid 30s in the AM, highs in mid 50s later, and sunny all day! Thanks to Jim Sparkman for giving us a nice route and great directions. It was good to see Jim and Martha again, as well as Glenn, Tim, Clyde, Clay, Dan, and Clark. Yours truly made it nine riders.

At our 60 mile rest stop at the Sheets, we had six Connie 14s, an 800 GS, and a Tiger 800 XC!

Vinny's Grill and Pizzeria in King George served up a great lunch. Thanks to all who attended, we missed those who couldn't.  ;D

Oh yeah....we did see one Sleeping Beaver. Actually he was a pretty big one and a victim of Michelin Disease; the buzzards thought they had hit the lottery.

Anyone who took some pics PLEASE send them to me and copy Steve Smith, too. We'd both love to see them and Steve will work his computer magic so everyone else can. Thanks!

You people are nuts!  We still had 5 inches of snow on the ground at the house ...

It was a cold ride in the morning, but still had a good time.  It was nice seeing everyone.

Pat, I e-mailed you some pictures.  Hope you got them.

I got the pix, thanks much, Glenn. Nice shots, and some of them will be in the NE Newsletter.

Yeah, we is nutz, Dusty. And if we had known about the five inches of snow, we coulda had the ride at your place!  ;)
