How come there are so few events on the calendar? I know there are more things going on by reading the news letters and Concourier. Thanks in Advance

The calendar shows one COG Area at a time. Look for the pull down box to select the area. You may want to touch base with your Area Director if your area events are not posted... Each AD is getting them posted as time allows. -- Steve Smith, #3184 COG Northest Area Director (somewhere in south central CT) If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

AS Steve said, get on your AD! AKA "2linby" That's 2-lin-by folks! Northwest Area Director COG #5539 AMA #927779 IBA #15034 Team Oregon MC Instructor http://community.webshots.com/user/2linby http://tinyurl.com/njas8 (IBA BunBurner Gold Trip) http://tinyurl.com/lwelx (Alaska trip)

I am just the lowly member. I don't feel I should "get on" anyone who is willing to do this kind of volunteer work. Is it true that AADs could put items on the calendar with the olds system? Can the AAD put items on the this system? If they can not why? I would think more responsible people allowed to get activities broadcasted would be better.

Jeff... no such thing as a lowly member. We are all in this together and everyone has a voice. There is no foul if you contact you area director to ask why more of your area rides are not posted on the calendar. On the old system, the webmaster had to provide the login info to the AD to pass on to the AADs. On this system we configured different membership permissions into the system, but each AD must let the membership director know who is an AAD so that the proper permissions are applied. All northeast AADs have event posting rights on this system, just as they did on the prior system. The NE AADs have entered in their 2008 rides into this system. -- Steve Smith, #3184 COG Northest Area Director (somewhere in south central CT) If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.
