Dual Sport Helmet--will the increased ventilation make it excessively noisy?

Just beginning to look for a new helmet.  When I get to ride it's often hot so I ride with the face shield up most of the time for added ventilation.  Thinking about a dual sport helmet because they look like have more vents.  Anyone riding with a dual sport helmet on a Concours? 

My big wonderment is about the noise level in a dual sport helmet.  With the increased ventilation I wonder if the noise level will be intolerable.  Current helmet was rated the quietest at the time MCN did a  helmet comparison.  Yes, I wear ear plugs almost all the time, trying to save what's left of the hearing.
